Hoop Mountain Super Week 1 wrapped up with an entertaining all star game on Friday night, followed by the camp playoffs on Saturday. Six-foot-seven forward Travis Taylor, who received a conditional release from Monmouth last month, will transfer to Boston College.
Taylor averaged 18 points and 8 rebounds in his only season of college basketball and chose to play for the Eagles over Seton Hall and Temple.
Taylor will have to sit out the 2010-2011 season per NCAA transfer rules but will have two seasons of eligibility remaining in 2011-2012.

Brent Abendroth, a six-foot-three point guard who spent the 2008-2009 season at Wilbraham & Monson as a post-graduate, will transfer to Clark University next season.
Abendroth accepted a recruited walk-on position at Bryant University following his year in the NEPSAC but will make the move to Clark for his sophomore season.
A point guard with good size and skills, Abendroth should be poised to make an immediate contribution for Clark as they look to contend in the NEWMAC.

14U Final - Xpressions Elite 56 Boston Spartans 54 For an age group that is not always known for its great fundamental play, the U14 final was played like a high school varsity game.
