Hoop Mountain hosted its annual Junior Elite camp July 8th-11th at Stonehill College. The New England Recruiting Report was on hand to observe the top rising talent in the northeast play together and look to improve their skills going into their high school or competitive youth seasons this winter. Hoop Mountain Academic All-American Camp came to close on Sunday with a final set of games, followed by an all-star game featuring the thirty top players at camp. Billy Lovett's Connecticut Elite sixteen-and-under team took the championship in their opening tournament of the summer.  Elite came out victorious at the Gauchos Roundball Classic, held at the famous Gauchos Gym in the heart of the Bronx.  Elite knocked off the Metro Hawks in the final, defeating the nike sponsored team from New York by 11 points.
