The Boston Warriors came home from Detroit Michigan and the AAU Division II Nationals as champions a couple of weeks ago as the u12 team finished with a 7-1 record in the tournament to take the title in the classic bracket. Worcester Academy Gets Two Worcester Academy has added two local pieces to next year’s team.  Canaan Severin, who played at Marlboro High School for the past two years, and Russel Deremer, who graduated from St. Andrew’s (RI), will both be heading to the NEPSAC Class A school next month.  Severin is a very athletic wing player who gets out in transition, attacks the rim hard with his dribble, and has already developed the reputation as a defensive stopper.  He will… READ MORE >

Kyle Anderson’s New Jersey Playaz won the u17 north division championship at the Summer in the City Tournament, spoiling a potential sweep for New Heights who claimed titles in the other three brackets.
