Commitment Catch Up (5/28/26)

Jonny Sullivan, Tewksbury HS (MA) Committed to Rivier University (NH)

Sullivan will continue his career at Rivier after a great run at Tewksbury HS, where he blossomed into a reliable and productive guard. The 6 '1 guard shines with his ability to run a team, play with great pace, and be an offensive engine without doing too much. He gets into the paint, makes plays off the bounce, and knocks down open shots when the defense gives him any space. Sullivan also has a big-time impact on the other end of the floor, with his toughness, constant activity, and competitiveness guarding outside on the perimeter. His feel for the game, two-way ability, combined with such a well-rounded skillset will allow him to contribute in multiple areas and provide him the opportunity to help Rivier next season.

Allen Miranda, Springfield Central HS (MA) Committed to Quincy College (MA)

Allen Miranda will be headed to Quincy College after a very productive high school career in Massachusetts. A 6 '0 guard, who has been a varsity starter since middle school, and a 1,000 point scorer. This is a clear display of his consistent production over multiple seasons. He has college-level quickness, burst, and playmaking in the backcourt, with the skills to generate offense for himself while also getting teammates involved equally as much. Miranda can attack and put pressure on the rim, finish through contact, and knock down shots from the perimeter to keep defenses honest. He also brings energy defensively, where his athleticism and competitiveness enable him to influence the game on both ends of the floor. With his experience, scoring background, and two-way ability, Miranda has a chance to earn early minutes at Quincy.

Brody Fay, Chicopee Comprehensive (MA) Committed to Palm Beach State (FL)

During his time at Chicopee Comp, Brody Fay was a strong, physical wing who brought value with his rebounding, grit, and consistent offensive game. He does a great job using his physicality to be a presence on the glass and secure rebounds, which constantly led into transition points on the other end. Offensively, Fay’s game was grounded in patience and feel, using his strength to get to his spots and finish with excellent touch around the rim. He also displayed the ability to stretch the floor with 25 made threes his senior season, making defenders respect him from the perimeter, which only added to his versatile game. With his physicality, motor, and ability to contribute in different ways, Fay has the tools to help a college program such as Palm Beach State.

Isaac Spurrier, Taft School (CT) Committed to Ohio Dominican (OH)

Spurrier is a 6’8 forward from England who brings an interesting combination of size, strength, and skill to the frontcourt. He has the size to battle inside, rebound, and finish around the rim. He has also has developed a perimeter skillset that allows him to step away from the basket, make shots, and exploit mismatches against slower defenders when teams to try to match his size. Spurrier is comfortable playing with the ball in his hands which is impressive for his size, has shown great feel as a passer and the ability to make plays within the flow of the offense. His experience overseas and inside-out versatility should translate right away to Ohio Dominican, where he will give the Panthers a highly skilled frontcourt piece.

Nick Hailey, Phillips Academy (MA) Committed to New York University (NY)

Hailey is headed to NYU after proving himself as one of the most dynamic two-way wings in NEPSAC Class A. At 6’5, the lefty carries extremely impressive athletic tools, a strong frame, and the ability to affect the game in a multitude of ways. He is at his best when he is getting downhill, finishing above the rim, excelling on the offensive glass, and creating offense in the open floor. Hailey also has the range to stretch defenses well beyond the three-point line, which makes him an even tougher assignment to contain when you consider his elite ability to put pressure on the rim. Defensively, his length, quickness, and IQ allow him to guard multiple positions, force turnovers, and provide help-side rim protection. His physical tools, proven ability to produce, and two-way upside should make him an exciting addition for NYU.

Jonathan Ocasio, Deerfield Academy (MA) Committed to Keene State (NH)

Ocasio is headed to Keene State after an impressive senior season at Deerfield Academy, where he quickly rose to the top as one of the most college-ready guards in NEPSAC Class A following a leg injury. The 6'0 guard brings a polished scoring package, including serious range to knock down shots from deep, the touch and pace to operate in the mid-range, and the quick burst to get all the way downhill when driving lanes open up. He plays with good pace and excellent change of speed, which allows him to create his own offense while also getting his teammates involved. Ocasio also brings toughness, leadership, and competitiveness on the defensive end, where he is consistently seeking out difficult perimeter matchups. His fundamental scoring ability, poise, and knack for impacting the game in multiple ways will make him a strong addition to Keene State’s backcourt.
