Loomis Chaffee post-graduate John Nielsen has made a verbal commitment to attend St. Anselm’s College next year on a full basketball scholarship.  Nielsen arrived at Loomis this fall after a tremendous two sport career at Port Jefferson High School in New York.  As the quarterback of the football team, Nielsen earned All-Suffolk County honors while leading his team to a 6-3 record.  But his biggest success always took place on the basketball court.  The six-foot-two shooting guard led Port Jefferson… READ MORE >

YNETV is broadcasting Brewster Academy’s game against NIA Prep from November’s National Prep Showcase.  YNETV will be teaming up with MyTV to air the game, which will reach 3 million households in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.  The game will air on Saturday, December 26th beginning at 8:30p.m. in most regions.  In parts of Maine the game will be showed at 12:30p.m.  If your regular cable package does not include MyTV you can still access the game over satellite… READ MORE >

The Rivers School hosted it’s 40th Annual Holiday Tournament over the weekend.  Milton Academy took home the championship, defeating Rivers, 60-52. Day One St. Andrew’s-70      Avon Old Farms-59St. Andrew’s survived a home scare from Avon Old Farms 70-59. Avon led at the half 35-28 behind 21 points from guards Jihaad Pretlow and Latif Rivers.
