It was a busy weekend of basketball across the country as the Nike EYBL was in Virginia, the Under Armour Association was in Houston, and the Adidas Gauntlet was in Indianapolis. Brewster Academy and Expressions Elite guard Jared Terrell committed to the University of Rhode Island late Friday morning, giving Rams’ head coach Danny Hurley a commitment from the highest ranked available prospect in the country. Terrell initially signed with Oklahoma State during the early signing period but later received a full release this spring before re-opening his recruitment. New Hampton School senior Anthony Pate has committed to play his college basketball at Carleton University. Carleton is a university of 22,000 students located in the Canadian capital of Ottawa, Ontario.
