Master’s School senior and South Boston resident Celio Arajuo has received a full athletic scholarship to Sheridan College, a junior college in the Wyoming that is considered a NJCAA Division I powerhouse in Region 9. Arajuo graduates from Masters this month with a 3.7 GPA and because he is fully qualified he will be eligible to leave Sheridan after only one season. Saul Phiri's recruitment went to a new level on Tuesday when DePaul became the first high-major program to offer him a scholarship. Phiri had previously held numerous mid-major offers, including several in the Atlantic 10 from George Washington, LaSalle and Duquesne among others. BABC came one step closer to qualifying for the Nike EYBL Finals at the Peach Jam this weekend with a 4-0 record at session III in Houston. The New England Playaz and BABC both captured championships at the Providence Jam Fest this weekend as the Playaz won the u17 division and BABC took the title in the u15 division. Tomas Murphy and Kellan Grady both had big days on Saturday.
