Springfield Commonwealth Academy was the site of the second annual PJN Classic this weekend, an event held in memory of Springfield Commonweath head coach Tony Bergeron's father. The PJN Classic attracted players from 16 teams in a fall league type of atmosphere and various media outlets including Ballas TV and RIAffiliated, both of whom had their cameras rolling. Putnam Science post-graduate point guard Kealen Ives made a verbal commitment to Rider on Friday night, PSA head coach Tom Espinosa confirmed to the New England Recruiting Report. St. Thomas More's post-graduate guard Sterling Taplin made a verbal commitment to Tulsa on Tuesday. Tuesday was a big day for Putnam Science Academy’s underclassmen tandem of Mamadou Diarra and Hamidou Diallo, who both earned their first high-major offers.
