Rhode Island has solidified their depth at the point guard position with a commitment from Mike Powell, a five-foot-ten floor general from Brooks High School in Chicago. CCSU head coach Howie Dickenman and his staff landed their latest two prospects in the class of 2011 this weekend and one appears to be a major steal. Michael Carter-Williams and Khem Birch are both in Chicago this week for the McDonald's All-American Game. The festivities kicked off on Monday night with the skills competition on ESPN2 and Carter-Williams took home first place, completing a course that consisted of shooting, passing, and ball-handling challenges in 26.2 seconds.
