URI has added another player to their incoming 2011 recruiting class, landing North Carolina native Rayvon Harris. The six-foot-five small forward comes from Flora MacDonald Academy and picked Rhody over offers from two other Atlantic 10 programs. Harris averaged 18 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals during his senior year and is known as a powerful and deceptively athletic player who can play a variety of positions. The 2011 America East Champions, Boston University men's basketball program, will hold their annual team camp on June 10th and 11th. Last year’s annual event drew 20 teams from the surrounding metropolitan area as well as Western Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Quinnipiac scored two important 11th hour commitments yesterday, solidifying their frontcourt with the additions of Marques Barnett, a six-foot-seven big man from Cardozo High School in New York, and Justin Harris, a six-foot-eight forward from Paramus Catholic in New Jersey. Shooting Touch will once again be offering their summer workout program this year. The Shooting Touch Elite Summer Workouts will be open to a maximum of sixteen players from the greater Boston area. Kimball Union Academy post-graduate Waylan Siverand has signed a national letter of intent to attend North Carolina A&T.
