Holy Cross Gets First of 2012

Cullen Hamilton became the first player to commit to Holy Cross in the class of 2012 on Sunday night.

A six-foot-two guard from Potomac School in Virginia, Hamilton averaged 22 points per game last year en route to being named 4th team All-MET and All-State Virginia Independent Schools.

Hamilton is a strong and athletic scoring guard who can put points on the board in bunches while also knocking down shots from behind the three-point line.  That's just what the doctor ordered for Holy Cross after last year's inaugural Patriot League class included a power forward, athletic wing, and point guard in Taylor Abt, Malcolm Miller, and Justin Burrell respectively.
