Syracuse Hosts Some of New England’s Best

Four top prospects from New England made the trip to Syracuse on Saturday for the Orange Elite Camp.

Ricardo Ledo, Nerlens Noel, Goodluck Okonoboh, and Jaylen Brantley were all in attendance according to reports.

"It was good," Ledo told SNY's Adam Zagoria, "We played in the Elite Camp and took a tour."

Ledo told Zagoria that he was also considering UConn, Kentucky, and Providence but didn't have dates set up yet to visit those campuses.

UConn did host Noel earlier in the week, as he visited Storrs on Wednesday.

"It was my first time there and it made a good impression," Noel told the National Recruiting Spotlight

"My favorite part of the visit was how much interest they expressed in me," he said.  "I really liked that."

While the trip was Noel's first to the Connecticut campus, his visit to Syracuse a few days later was the second time he had been on the Orange's campus.

The Tilton big man is expected to release a list of fifteen schools in early September that he will eventually narrow down before making his final decision.

As for Okonoboh, he also holds an offer from Syracuse but may have a closer connection to UConn being first cousins with Alex Oriakhi.  The rising junior is also attracting interest from Georgia Tech, Miami, Louisville, Florida, Providence, Gonzaga, Minnesota, and Penn State among others.

Brantley saw his recruitment go to the highest level as well this summer and reportedly now claims offers from Louisville, Iowa State, Missouri, Virginia, Rhode Island, and Richmond.
