Over 20 college and prep school coaches made the drive north on Sunday afternoon to attend the 2nd Annual Vermont College Showcase presented by Lone Wolf Athletics. The University of Vermont is making quick work of their 2011 recruiting class, already landing their second player of the summer. Boston College landed a verbal commitment from big man Kyle Caudill on Monday. Caudill is a true center and mountain of a man, standing 6'11" and weighing in and 275 lbs. He stars for Brea Olinda High School and runs with the California based Adidas Pump n'Run team. After a successful day one of the Boston Best 40 showcase, NERR was back for day two at the Rivers school to watch rising 8th 9th and 10th graders from the Boston area showcase their abilities and learn something from the coaches at the event. The New England Recruiting Report was on hand for the first day of the second annual Boston Best 40 Recap. Day one featured top rising 6th and 7th graders from Boston and the greater Boston area. Rising freshman Aaron Falzon is following in his older brother's footsteps. Falzon recently returned from a trip to Europe where he starred for Malta at the FIBA sixteen-and-under European championships.
