Falzon Stars Overseas
Rising freshman Aaron Falzon is following in his older brother's footsteps.
Falzon recently returned from a trip to Europe where he starred for Malta at the FIBA sixteen-and-under European championships. Aaron's older brother Tevin starred for Malta's u18 team at last year's FIBA Europe championships and plans to play for the national team again next year.
Aaron and Tevin's grandfather was a native of Malta, a small country off of Italy's southern border, and so the brothers are eligible to play with the national team.
Aaron's first experience in international basketball was nothing less than a tremendous success. While the team finished in fifth place in their division, Falzon served as the team's captain and averaged 19.6 points and 19.2 rebounds per game and was consequently named to the "All Star 5 Tournament Team".
