Magic/Storm College Night Event Recap

The annual Middlesex Magic and New England Storm College Night attracted over 40 college coaches to Babson College on Tuesday night. Sitting shoulder to shoulder across one of the sidelines, coaches watched as the two clubs put their seventeen-and-under teams through a series of transition drills and skill-work before playing full five on five games. After a solid spring on the AAU season Kuran Iverson delivered a big performance at last week’s NBA Players’ Association Top 100 Camp. Iverson was called one of the top three performers at the entire camp by Scout.com’s National Basketball Recruiting Analyst Evan Daniels and received praise from media outlets across the board. Holy Cross Earns 2nd Commitment

Holy Cross head coach Milan Brown got an early Father's Day present on Sunday, landing his second commitment in the class of 2013 from Malachi Alexander, a six-foot-six swingman from Elanor Roosevelt High School in Maryland. Alexander, who also runs with Team Takeover Orange on the AAU circuit, is a long and athletic swingman with a developing skill set to 22 feet. Woodson Wont Return

This weekend at the NBPA Camp, Rivals.com’s national recruiting analyst Eric Bossi confirmed what many in New England had already come to know, that Dominic Woodson would not be returning to Vermont Academy. Woodson left the NEPSAC school in April and is now planning on attending either Findlay Prep, Huntington Prep or Sunrise Christian Academy for his senior season. Drive 4 Stardum Announces CommitmentsDrive 4 Stardum program director and head coach Donta Johnson has announced commitments stemming from his program this year. The East Catholic duo of Tyler Veretto and Austin Calling will be continuing their careers at Clark University and Catholic University respectively.
