With the Division I live period ending last week the focus is now back on Division II and III recruiting. MacDuffie Forward off the Board

MacDuffie School forward Phabian Glasco became the latest local prep product to come off the board, when he made a recent commitment to Central Arkansas, a division I school in the Soutland Conference.  The commitment was first reported by the Ballas TV twitter page.  Glascoewill be returning closer to his home in Oklahoma after spending his post-graduate season in New England.  The six-foot-six forward is a high level athlete capable of playing above the rim on both ends of the… READ MORE >

Mallory Staying Home with Scholarship

Holy Cross High School graduate and Marianapolis Prep post-graduate Mike Mallory made a recent commitment to Southern Connecticut State University.  Mallory was one of the top seniors in the CIAC last season before going down with a torn ACL.  Incredibly, he continued to play throughout most of the season on the bad leg before electing off-season surgery.  Unable to play on the summer AAU circuit, Mallory spent the time hitting the weight room and building up his body so that… READ MORE >

Hole NE-10 Bound

Evan Hole made a verbal commitment to Assumption College on Thursday.  Hole is a six-foot-five swingman who graduated from Portsmouth High School in Rhode Island last year before opting for a prep year at the Salisbury School. St. Thomas More post-graduate guard Marquis Moore made a verbal commitment to George Mason on Thursday. Levin Makes Pick

Oliveira Earns Scholarship

Brimmer & May senior point guard Adrian Oliveira made a commitment to Southern New Hampshire University on Wednesday, accepting a four year scholarship offer from the NE-10 school.  Oliveira transferred into Brimmer & May and repeated his sophomore season.  He played with the New England Playaz on the grassroots circuit.  The Rhode Island native appeared poised for a big senior year before going down with an injury that would cut his final season short.  Nevertheless, he managed to get on… READ MORE >
