National Championship Belongs to Tilton

National Prep Championship Starts Today

The top eight prep school teams in the country will converge on Endicott College in Beverly Massachusetts today for the quarter-finals of the National Prep Championship.  The first match-up will take place at 2pm as the Patterson School meets Bridgton Academy.  The second game tips at 4pm and features Hargrave Military Academy against the Winchendon School.  At 6pm two local rivals will square off as Notre Dame Prep will face Brewster Academy.  The final match-up of the day will be… READ MORE >

Loomis Chaffee Takes WNE Title

Andy Barbalich connected on two three-pointers in the game’s first three minutes, helping Loomis to a 10-0 run to start the game.  The openings minutes proved to be indicative of the next 29, as Loomis went on to win 65-51 behind six three-pointers and 21 points from Barbalich.  With the victory the Pelicans claimed the first ever Western New England Conference title.  After falling into their early hole, Choate gradually chipped away for much of the first half behind some… READ MORE >

NEPSAC Class A Semi’sBridgton Academy 68 Brewster Academy 58Bridgton held off Brewster in a hard fought match-up on Friday night.  The Wolverines advance to Sunday’s final looking for their fourth NEPSAC title in the last four years.
