BABC defeated Nike EYBL rival Team Takeover from Washington D.C. on Saturday to win the AAU 10th grade national championship for the second consecutive year. The BABC sophomores have a chance to repeat what they did exactly one year ago tomorrow when they meet Team Takeover in the finals of the AAU 10th grade National Championship. BABC scored two easy wins on Friday to advance to the finals, beginning with a 74-59 cruising over Gardner Road in the quarterfinal and then followed by a 51-29 lashing over Ohio Varsity White in the customary defense-first style. Only four teams were left standing to start the day on Wednesday in each of the five brackets at the AAU Super Showcase. The New England Playaz and Connecticut Basketball Club were the last two local programs standing when action got underway in Las Vegas on Monday.
