The University of Massachusetts will be hosting a coaches clinic on Saturday, October 24th at the Curry Hicks Cage on their Amherst campus. Yesterday we told you that Keegan Hyland made a verbal commitment to the University of Vermont. Thursday morning came news that although Hyland did in fact commit to the Catamounts, he had a change of heart very shortly thereafter and de-committed and is reportedly now leaning towards attending prep school next season. Eighth grade shooting guard Matt Costello from Lynnfield opened up the tournament in Springfield, Mass with a strong 38 point performance against South County Basketball Club. Overall, he averaged 24 points per game over the weekend tournament and was responsible for approximately 50% of his team's offensive production. Keegan Hyland made a verbal commitment to the University of Vermont on Wednesday, giving the Catamounts a huge addition for the 2010-2011 season. Hoop Mountain held their final Fall Classic event of the fall Sunday afternoon at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York.
