PSA Guard Heading to MAAC

George Washington picked up a critical 2014 commitment on Tuesday afternoon from St. Thomas More forward Yuta Watanabe.  Watanabe had trimmed his list to just GW and Fordham and was set to make a decision earlier this weekend before ultimately delaying the announcement until Tuesday morning. Suffield Academy post-graduate guard Jared Harper has accepted a recruited walk-on spot at Fairfield University following a visit to the school’s campus and meeting with head coach Sydney Johnson and his staff over the weekend.  A California native, Harper decided on a pos-tgraduate year after a broken leg during his junior year in the football season kept him off the basketball court for nearly a year. Farley Commits to WPI

Burlington (MA) High School and Boston Warriors guard Shane Farley has been admitted, and subsequently committed to, Worcester Polytechnic Institute.  Farley has averaged over 20 points per game in each of the last two seasons, reaching a number of milestones along the way, including recently scoring the 1000th point of his career.  Last year he set a Burlington record, and MIAA best in 2012-2013, with a 50 point performance against Wilmington. One day after Jalen Adams made his ESPN 60 debut, ESPN 60 looks back at the setting that made it all possible.
