RMU Gets a Steal with Gebrewhit
With Sacred Heart, Bryant, and Central Connecticut all scoring quality late pick-ups in recent weeks, fellow Northeast Conference school Robert Morris struck back on Monday when Holderness School and Expressions Elite unsigned senior Philmon Gebrewhit announced he would be committing to head coach Andy Toole.

Gebrewhit had a big spring and summer playing with Expressions as he was the team's starting wing and a big part of their run back to the EYBL Finals at the Peach Jam. His recruitment peaked following the month of July with his fifth offer from an Atlantic 10 conference school. Since then though, his recruitment had inexplicably slipped as he flew under the radar during his final season in the prep ranks.
Robert Morris was able to capitalize on that opportunity and with a chance for significant playing time from day one to offer, score one of the best remaining prospects left on the board in New England.
Gebrewhit is a skilled wing and one of the best pull-up shooters in New England. Scoring over-top of opposing defenders has been his bread-and-butter for years, but his game has evolved within the last two years as he's become both a more consistent ball-handler and three-point threat.
Below are some of his EYBL highlights from last summer.
