Class of ‘25 Commitment Catch Up pt. 4

Here are seven more prospects who have announced their commitments to both DII and DIII programs for the fall.

Thomas Ferdinando, Babson

Last year, Thomas Ferdinanado helped lead his Middlesex magic team to two Hoop Group championships which set the stage for what was to come during his senior season. While finishing with a 19-7 record with Governor's Academy this year, Ferdinanado earned himself All Nepsac Honorable Mention as well as being named to the ISL First Team.

Next year Ferdinando is set to join Head Coach Stephen Brennan at Babson College and look to make some noise in the NEWMAC.

Jakye Rainey, St. Anselm

During a final four run at the National Prep Championship Jakye Rainey poured in his 111th three pointer of the season, making him the all time leader of three pointers made in a season at Vermont Academy. Playing an integral role for his team all season, they finished with a 24-12 record and Rainey was able to eclipse the 30 point mark in many of those wins.

In the fall, Rainey will bring his three point ability and pesky defense to New Hampshire and join St. Anselm College.

Chris Camozzi, Bates

Chris Camozzi has been clutch ever since his days at Newton, hitting many big shots for that team. After spending a few years there he transferred to Dexter and has only gotten better from there. He gets his teammates involved really well and has been a crucial piece for Brian Scalabrienes White Mamba AAU team.

Next year Camozzi will join Bates and look to make an instant impact for Head Coach Jon Furbush.

Luke Seltzer, Carnegie Mellon

This past summer Luke Seltzer played on Ireland's U18 Fiba team and shot 40% from three. This then continued to pick up as he got into play for Philips Andover over the winter season. He is a very smart three point specialist and knows how to get to his spot very well. He earned all NEPSAC Honorable Mention.

Next season he will join the Scotty the Scottish Terrier at Carnegie Mellon and look to make a name for himself.

Alec Scraborough, WPI

Baby Jokic is what some people call Alec Scraborough. He has shown his dominance in the post but has started to move out and knock down three point shots for St. Andrew’s this past season. In the spring and summer he has been a part of Team Temple and has seen a ton of success throughout all of high school.

Next season Scraborough will join Worcester Polytechnic Institute and bring his interior presence with him.

Justin Jamal, UMaine Farmington

Justin Jamal had a big senior season for Deering High School and picked up right where he left off for Black Bear North last weekend at the first session for ZGXL. He is a quick and crafty guard that can knock down shots at a high rate.

Jamal will join UMaine Farmington and look to help Coach Quinn Newton in the future.

Will Wertz, Skidmore

Weritz has been a star for Governor's Academy and the Middlesex Magic over his high school career. He earned ISL Honorable Mention this past season due to his strong play. At the Hoop group Summer Jam Fest last summer Wertz was a standout with his three point shooting as well as tenacious defense.

Wertz is set to head up to Saratoga Springs in the fall and will make an immediate impact at Skidmore College.
