Unsigned 2025 Event Recap - The Guards pt. 2

The recap of the Unsigned 2025 Event concludes with the second batch of guards we took note of throughout the night. Thank you to all of the players and families who made their way into Boston on Monday night, and the 65+ college coaches from about 43 schools that came out.
The goal of our showcases is to provide real exposure to college coaches for aspiring prospects who want to play past high/prep school, and were very pleased with the turnout we saw at the event.
Here are the rest of the guards.
Jaeden Bull, Bridgton (ME) - As a big contributor for Bridgton this season, Bull put together a great postgraduate season in Maine. He contributes in various areas of the game, scoring inside using his phyiscality and finesse moves, rebounding the ball, or making reads to get others involved. He put his finishing and ability to rise up into his mid-range shots on display in this setting.
Aidan O'Brien, IMG (FL) - O'Brien's guard play stood out led by his tight handle on the ball and ability to knock down the three. He maintains a low center of gravity and was able to knock down a handful of outside shots.
Thomas Kaine, Bridgeport Prep (CT) - Kaine played very well in his second game set alongside his Bridgeport Prep teammate Travis Upchurch. Kaine's IQ stood out as he made good passes, relocated to his spots, and limited mistakes. The bigger guard was able to connect on some three ball's as well.
Julius Goode, Watkinson (CT) - Goode's defensive prowess was on display in the 3v3 aspect of the game as he was able to play up and wall up bigger players on defense. The guard's quickness stood out and he used some finesse moves to get the shots he wanted around the basket.
Ben Sachse, Bridgton (ME) - Sachse's shooting was very accurate from long-range where he converted shots. He uses a good spin move in the lane to get open, and runs out well in transition.
Julian Chatman, Putnam Tech (MA) - Chatman's relentless in his attack of the basket, using quickness and keeping the ball tight to his body to try and get to the basket. He had some big time scoring games at Putnam Tech, and can rebound above his size while playing a role as a facilitator.
Chase Koretsky, IMG (FL) - Koretsky's unselfishness as a ball mover stood out while playing with his IMG teammates. He consistently made the right pass and kept the offense churning.
James Jackson, Hamden (CT) - Jackson displays a sound guard game at the point guard spot. He's got some speed to make a difference in transition, can hit the long ball, and made some impressive passes.
Ethan Haynes, West Nottingham (MD) - Haynes was another guard whose two way play caught our eye. He keeps the ball on his hip and makes good passes, while playing tough defense.
Ezekiel Wilson, Doherty (MA) - Wilson has great lead guard skills, shining particularly well as a facilitator. He has good touch to thread passes, and vision to find teammates. His shooting was another aspect of his game we took note of.
Nicholas DeBlasi, Christian Heritage (CT) - Earning an All-HVAL League honor for his play down in Connecticut this season, DeBlasi put his skill on display. He made shots inside and out, while doing a good job of keeping the ball moving and playing tough on the defensive end.
Emre Bayazit, IMG (FL) - Bayazit's two-way play stood out, making plays as a shooter, and defending the ball on defense. The guard was able to force turnovers with the timing of his hands, and displayed effective communication as a leader within his squad.
Josh Diaz, Bridgton (ME) - Diaz can get into the defense with good footwork and balance to spin off his man and get a clean look at the rim. He was able to space the floor in this setting and make some three's.
James Gultekin, Premier Prep (MA) - Gultekin put his scoring ability on display at the event as he was able to convert shots at all three levels, including rising up and throwing down. He finished well on the interior and forced steals with good timing to jump lanes.
Nicholas Lukman, IMG (FL) - Lukman's stepback led to a number of makes when he went up for shots from the perimeter. The 6'4" guard has good mechanics to his shot with a clean release, and vision to make passing reads.
Jean Martinez, Springfield Central (MA) - Martinez plays a head up game, knowing when to snap a pass through the defense to get his teammates an open look. He can score it well off the catch, and finishes through contact in the paint.
Jeremiah Hall, Pioneer Academy (NJ) - Hall competes in many areas of the game looking to make the right plays. He can score it off the bounce, really gets into the body of those trying to grab boards, and can rack up assists with his passing chops.
Krish Patel, IMG (FL) - Patel brings a blend of size and speed to the floor standing at 6'3, and can make a difference with his transition play. He scores the ball at all three levels shooting the ball from deep, and when penetrating the paint can score it or spray it out to teammates.
Timothe Ballin, Lee (ME) - Ballin made good plays when he was able to get the ball in the paint. He keeps good balance playing off of two feet and finished his shots off the glass.
Alex Torres, Wilbraham & Monson (MA) - Torres' level of competitiveness stands out, especially on the defensive end. He gets into the lane to draw contact and looks to make the right pass.
Vasco Rosa, IMG (FL) - Rosa did not shy away from contact when he was on the floor, doing his best to protect the ball and limit turnovers. He got aggressive when going to the basket, and showed off his deep three-point range.
