NEPSAC Showcase Weekend #2 - Sunday Blog
NERR Scout Jared Exler was on hand at Milton Academy for the second of two NEPSAC Showcase weekends.
In case you missed any of the action, here is a rundown from him on some of the Sunday standouts.
2024 @RL_Athletics & @MiddlesexMagic wing Sean Perri has fluid mechanics on his shot, makes threes at a high volume off movement or when spotting up, and can attack closeouts for creative finishes around the rim. pic.twitter.com/6AtUsg0h7J

2023 @AbbeyRavens big man Aidan Duffy needs to be accounted for from long-range on standstill attempts, can take opposing bigs off the dribble in straight lines, and uses his physicality to be a productive defensive rebounder. pic.twitter.com/XIsSWGBgBf

2024 @TaborHoops & @thebabc guard Daithi Quinn is settling in with the Seawolves. He did a nice job last game set playing within the flow of his team’s offense, hitting a number of standstill treys and finding open seams slashing to the basket for finishes off the glass. pic.twitter.com/QhPOLU2m4d

2023 @nobles_hoops & @MiddlesexMagic point guard Marc Garraud continued his impressive play throughout the weekend last game set. He stood out draining spot-up and pull-up treys while also showing good vision finding teammates for layups in transition. pic.twitter.com/F7RcXge6oG

2023 @stsebsbball & @ExpressionsBall forward Cooper Wright caught my eye last game set hitting four treys off the catch while using his length to alter opponents’ shots on the defensive end. pic.twitter.com/aKQHWTcfIR

Jack Bleier, a 2023 from @ChoateHoops & @PTT_Hoops is a gritty wing who can hit tightly contested shots at the rim or from deep. pic.twitter.com/inddicSiws

2024 @brimmerathletic & @RivalsNation SG Andre Mills was excellent last game set. He can hit threes on pull-up/standstill attempts, gets to the rim at ease with his burst, while also making it difficult for opponents to get by him off the dribble with his lateral quickness. pic.twitter.com/iiIeduJUA9

Tre Norman, a 2023 from @WA_VBB & @thebabc is a guard who consistently gets downhill in the half-court, has three-point pull-up capabilities, and also can make plays for others when on the ball. pic.twitter.com/S6M2p0rZ1U

Stephen Willand, a 2023 from @MPrepBBB is a skilled big man in the paint who can score with drop-steps, jump-hooks, or face-up jumpers, while also showing in spurts an ability to initiate fast breaks after corralling a rebound. pic.twitter.com/dPzsSwR6j3

Vule Sukovic, a 2023 forward from @TaftBasketball is a reliable three-point threat on spot-up attempts and can create for himself or his teammates when attacking closeouts. pic.twitter.com/ir9SRdtx3W
