Morissette Commits to Wofford
Phillips Exeter Academy and Middlesex Magic rising senior wing Josh Morissette announced a verbal commitment to Wofford on Tuesday.
The commitment comes two weeks after visiting their campus unofficially and just days after landing an offer after their coaching staff watched him at the NEPSAC Showcase.
"Josh has a great skill package as a scorer and facilitator. He has been a key for our team over the course of a remarkably successful season," said Magic director and head coach Michael Crotty Jr. "Most importantly, he possesses amazing toughness and all the leadership qualities you could ask for. We are so excited for his future as he joins a great Wofford program."
Morissette began his career at Exeter High School where he helped lead the team to a perfect season and New Hampshire state championship as a sophomore. That spring he starred for a Magic team that won the HGSL championship before joining Phillips Exeter the following fall.
He's been back on the court this spring, playing a signature role for the Magic.
Proud to announce my commitment to Wofford College. Can’t wait for the next journey of my life. @ExeterHoop @MiddlesexMagic @WoffordMBB pic.twitter.com/SBrT8MZLbo
