Expressions Wins Summer Jam Fest
Expressions Elite traveled to Manheim, Pennsylvania and the 30-court Spooky Nooky Sports facility for the annual Hoop Group Summer Jam Fest this weekend.
The top overall seed in the event, Expressions received an opening round bye before knocking off CC Thunder on Friday night. They returned to the court on Saturday for wins over Force 1 and NJ Got Game.
Sunday’s action began with a quarterfinal victory over PK Flash, who had knocked off the NYC Jayhawks in their quarterfinal match-up. Expressions handled JB Hoops in the semifinals before defeating ICC Truth, who had knocked off Middlesex Magic in the semis, to take the championship.

Aaron Falzon was reportedly the standout in the final while being followed by the likes of Virginia, Harvard, and Northwestern at various points throughout the week.
Jared Wilson-Frame and E.J. Crawford provided two strong wing scores, both of whom made big threes in the finals while Nisre Zouzoua played to rave reviews for the second time in as many weeks while the rising junior backcourt of Donovan Love and Ikenna Ndugba shared the ball-handling responsibilities and Jesse Bunting manned the middle.
Rising sophomores Jermaine Samuels and Jordan Hardwick both played up on the u17 level as well.
