Connectict 2026 Ranking Drop

The first official release of the 2026 Connecticut Rankings by NERR is now live!

As New England's second largest state, Connecticut has been known to have a wealth of college level talent with this class being no different.

Abdou Toure, a state champion at Notre Dame West Haven who just represented Guinea at the international level, has taken off this summer picking up a hoard of high major offers. Toure is set to run it back as NDWH approaches the season as the likely favorites in the state, he take's the top spot.

Following him in the second slot is incoming Putnam Science guard Warren Keel. Having spent most of his career in Massachusetts, Keel is a fresh add to the state's rankings with high major recruitment coming his way as well.

Right behind Keel, is Adama Tambedou another incoming Putnam Science 2026 who just finished off a breakout grassroots season.

Notre Dame Fairfield transfer Parrish Edmond takes the fourth spot as he moves on to Putnam Science this season after leading NDF to the final four in the CIAC Division One tournament this past year. Right behind him at five is Kingswood-Oxford's DJ Biggins who is set to be a catalyst of the Wyverns this season.

AOF point guard Joel Nash comes in sixth due to this impressive lead guard skills, while Hotchkiss wing Preston Merrick's attacking and fearlessness on the court helps him to the seventh slot.

Rounding out the top ten is South Kent's Jackson Southerland, Boston native Jaeden Roberts who's set to reclass at Putnam Science this season, and West Haven/Westminster School forward Ethan Griffin.
