WPI Adds More Local Products WPI recently added two local Massachusetts products in Shrewsbury’s Will Michalski and Acton-Boxboro’s Sam Longwell. The University of New Hampshire picked up a commitment last week from Garrett Jones, , a six-foot combo-guard from Evanston Township high school in Chicago, Illinois. The University of Hartford picked up their most recent commitment this week from Jamie Schneck, a six-foot-eight two-hundred-and-twenty-five pound big man from Whitefish Bay High School in Whitefish, Wisconsin. Schneck averaged 16 points per game this year while shooting 65% from the floor and also adding 9 rebounds and 2.4 blocks. Terry Tarpey put an end to his recruitment on Tuesday, making a verbal commitment to the College of William and Mary. “It seemed like the perfect fit both athletically and academically,” Tarpey told the New England Recruiting Report. “The Colonial [Athletic Association] is a great conference and William & Mary is a great academic school.” As for the timing of his decision, Tarpey acknowledged that it was probably earlier than many expected but said he saw no reason to wait. …
