Good things come in small packages and Justin Leip is walking proof. Leip, an 8th grader at the Rivers School in Massachusetts, is rading a very steady wave of momentum after a solid spring and summer on the AAU and camp circuits. Vermont’s first year head coach John Becker scored his second big commitment of the week when Connecticut native and Northfield Mount Hermon senior Ethan ODay committed to the Catamounts on Sunday. The University of Massachusetts landed a commitment from Tyler Bergantino, a six-foot-eight two-hundred-and-thirty-five pound big man from Nature Coast Technical High School in Florida.
Bergantino ran with Florida Elite on the AAU circuit and is widely known to be a post prospect on the rise.
The Florida native has lost 32 pounds since his sophomore season and is a high volume rebounder with a rapidly developing skill set.
