2024 Frosh/Soph #E75 South - The Forwards

Continuing on with the Forward's from the Frosh/Soph Elite 75, Connecticut's group featured another group of forwards to monitor moving forwards. Here are some who caught our eye at Hamden Hall on Sunday afternoon.

Zion Robinson, Hopkins - It's been a few years since we've had a Hopkins prospect at an Elite 75 showcase, and at first glance, it was more than worth the wait. Robinson displayed his shooting ability notably knocking down shots off pick and pops. He's got a fluid shot to go with his 6'7" stature, brings mobility to the position and can guard a few positions in the frontcourt.

Filip Mozoul, Vermont - With glaring physical tools, Mozoul has raw skills that have continued to make strides. He uses his size well to score over defenders in the post with some touch in the paint. Defensively, he has solid footwork down low and does a good job of altering shots with his length.

Landon Whiting, Vermont - The incoming Vermont Wildcat has upside to monitor coming into the states from Canada. He's got long arms which he uses well to impact the game in many facets, but does so especially well to corral rebounds and protect the basket.

Zack Munawar, Kingswood Oxford - Munawar has very soft hands in the post which allowed him to catch entry passes from the guards on his team, before making a move to the basket. He has obvious size at 6'7" and a growing interior skill set to keep an eye on.

Dylan Seymour, Greens Farms - Joining GFA from Westport Connecticut, Dylan joined his brother Beckett in the showcase. He's got a developing perimeter game outside to complement his touch inside the paint, and is worth monitoring as he progresses through high school.

Beckett Seymour, Greens Farms - Another half of the Seymour brothers, Beckett's skillset on the interior stands out. He's not afraid of contact in the post and often finishes through it. He takes hits on defense and does a great job of tracking down rebounds. Keep an eye on him as he grows his offensive skills.

Henry Veissid, Staples - Westport Connecticut's, Veissid made a strong impact in our eyes as a defender. He kept his man in front of him using his body and moves his feet well on defense. The 6'4" forward also did a good job of positioning himself to secure rebounds.

Evan Seitz, St. Luke's - The 6'7", 2028 forward offers a floor spacing threat as a three-point shooter. He's got some moves in the post to complement his touch around the basket, and crashes the board on both ends.

Shane Grogan, Amity - The stretch forward returned for a second run in the Frosh/Soph Elite 75 and once again played well. He's got a quick release from outside which combined with his size makes him a true threat. As he expands his post-game and defensive consistency keep an eye on the 2027 prospect.

Harrison Hawkins, Farmington - Younger brother of St. Thomas More's DJ Hawkins, Harrison has size and potential at the forward spot. He did a good job of following up shots off the rim for putback opportunities and using his hands in the post to try and deter shot attempts.

Caleb Chapman, Hamden Hall - At the small forward position, Chapman brings a shooting threat to the court with a quick release from three. He's got two-way ability to his game with good anticipation on defense to jump passes and crowd lanes to force turnovers.

Stay tuned as we go through the wings in Massachusetts tomorrow!
