Billy Lovett's Connecticut Elite u16 team traveled to Maryland last weekend to play in Baltimore Nike Elite's tournament at the prestigious DeMatha High School.  Elite advanced all the way to the semi-finals, defeating the host squad in the process, but were eventually stopped in double overtime by Team Final, featuring highly touted St. Patrick's big man Austin Colbert from New Jersey.  Our video of the week is a highlight reel of that game care of CapitolHoops.com. Hartford Team Camp Returning

Newly appointed University of Hartford head coach John Gallagher will continue to run the Hawks Elite Team Camp begun under former head coach Dan Leibovitz.  The 2010 Hawks Elite Team Camp will take place on June 26th & 27th at the University of Hartford's Reich Family Pavilion.  Once again the event is expected to attract top high school teams from Connecticut and beyond as programs like Northwest Catholic, East Catholic, Bloomfield, and New Britain have already committed to attending.  The… READ MORE >

Notre Dame Prep isn't waisting anytime in reloading their roster for the 2010-2011 season and they're doing it with some familiar names.  Khem Birch, Angel Nunez, and Grandy Glaze all recently transferred into Prep and are all currently enrolled in school and taking classes.  Birch and Nunez started the year at the Winchendon School while Glaze was at Proctor Academy.  While Glaze is already committed to UNLV, Birch and Nunez are both being recruited by the highest levels of college… READ MORE >

Bridgton Swingman Accepts D2 Offer

Paul Dick, a six-foot-four post-graduate swingman from Bridgton Academy, recently made a verbal commitment to Franklin Pierce University and is expected to sign his National Letter of Intent this week. Clifford Says Yes to B.C.
