The University of Massachusetts earned a commitment from Hofstra transfer Chaz Williams on Friday afternoon. Williams had visited the Amherst campus earlier in the week. A New York native who starred at Bishop Ford High School in Brooklyn prior to arriving at Hofstra, Williams held down the starting point guard position for virtually his entire freshman season with the Pride. The University of New Hampshire added the latest piece to their recruiting class in six-foot-seven two-hundred-and-thirty pound center Kazadi Nyanguila from Vanier College in Canada. Vanier College is annually one of the top programs in Canada under head coach Andy Hertzog with frequent trips to the United States to play top prep school programs in New England.
