Junior Elite Camp - Thunder

The Thunder were one of the teams that turned some heads at the Hoop Mountain Junior Elite Camp last week at Stonehill College.  With a variety of talented young players, the Thunder strung together a few impressive performances.

Jaquan Mills, 4’10, point guard - Jaquan Mills was his team’s Rajon Rondo.  Jaquan is an exceptional floor general that offensively and defensively communicates with his teammates and his ball handles, quickness, and smart decisions will make him a very valuable asset to any team.

Doug Gibbs, 4’11, guard - Doug has the potential to be a very good basketball player because of his great basketball knowledge at such a young age.

Ron Harris, 5’5, small forward - Harris is a talented wingman with very deceptive quickness and the mentality to charge into the trenches and fight for rebounds.

Chris Diclimente, 5’10, power forward - A player for the Rhode Island Breakers, Chris has superior strength on the glass and is difficult to stop when he gets in the paint to score and finish.  His coach said that he can truly blossom as a player at any time.

Jimmy Foye, 5’7, small forward - Foye brings great deceptive quickness to the court as well as a strong shooting stroke from both mid and long range.

Zach Jones, 5’9, small forward - Zach loves to drive and attack the basket with a solid ability to finish.  He also brings an accurate jump shot as well as praise from his coach for being a great overall kid.
