Junior Elite Camp - Clippers
The Clippers were one of the most talented teams in the NBA West at last week's Hoop Mountain Junior Elite camp. Here is a look at a few of the players who stood out:
Eric D’Aguanno, forward/center - At only 12 years of age, Eric is one of the camp’s best players. He has unique versatility on offense possessing great low-post moves, a great mid range shot, and even an accurate 3-point shot. Defensively he can block shots or least can alter their direction, and is a great presence in the paint.
Jack Levine, point guard - Jack Levine loves the transition game as a point guard because of his great ability to be a creative passer. He uses crafty moves to make himself unpredictable and can create so many ways for his teammates to receive the pass and score.
Sean Fay, forward - A scrappy and hard-working forward, Fay has a tough mentality for battling for rebounds in the trenches and putting the ball in the net any way possible. He is also a smart defender that does a great job on help defense.
Matt Kehoe, forward - Matt is a very solid post player that knows how to attack the hoop and get into solid rebounding position. He is also deceptively quick when the running the floor and can even be a shot blocker.
Richie Testa, guard - A very athletic guard that has a great head for the game and can be a strong defensive stopper.
Alex Gibbs, guard - Alex is the youngest player in the camp but has one of the biggest hearts. He has is a very hard-worker and coachable player and has shown that he can score over bigger defenders.
Ryan Angethal, guard/forward - Ryan’s coach praised him as a very hard-worker that is constantly hustling on the court.
