Brewster Academy and Mass Rivals point guard Makai Ashton-Langford has requested a release from the National Letter of Intent he signed with UConn during November's early signing period. Rutland won the Division I state championship, defeating Champlain Valley Union 43-37 in overtime to win the school's first state championship since 1967.
