Six weeks ago, Cushing Academy's Kaleb Joseph had only one scholarship offer to his name. Now he has four Division I offers with a fifth potentially on the way. Southern Connecticut State University head coach Mike Donnelly is inviting coaches from across the region to attend a free clinic this Saturday September 22nd. The clinic will begin at 11am with an introduction and explanation of the SCSU coaching philosophy. The Owls will take the court for a full practice from 11:30am - 1:00pm. The University of Rhode Island scored a huge commitment on Wednesday when Jordan Hare (Saginaw, Mich./Arthur Hill) turned down high-major suitors to play for coach Jim Baron in the Atlantic 10. The third annual Derek Kellogg Basketball Coaches Clinic will be held on Sunday, Oct. 23 at the Curry Hicks Cage. The clinic will feature UMass head coach Derek Kellogg and his staff conducting a two and a half hour practice with three breakdown drill sessions for different positions, lunch and a social hour.
