Rod Odom de-committed from Arizona late Sunday night and made a verbal commitment to Vanderbilt early Monday morning. As was first reported by Alex Schwartz of the Northstar Basketball Blog, Northeastern University picked up a verbal commitment from six-foot-seven forward Alex Bates earlier this week. Holy Cross first year head coach Sean Kearney went to Kansas to pick up his second verbal commitment of the 2010 class. Steve Carver, a six-foot-seven face-up four man from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Kansas, pledged to Kearney and the Crusaders on Tuesday morning.
