Fitzpatrick Switches from Penn to Bucknell Connecticut native Brian Fitzpatrick, who starred at Xavier High School before doing a post-graduate year at Northfield Mount Hermon, has opted to leave the University of Pennsylvania after his freshman season and will transfer to Bucknell University of the Patriot League. Zimmerman Walking on at LIU Taquan Zimmerman, who starred at Holy Cross High School before doing a post-graduate year at Putnam Science Academy, has reportedly chosen to walk on at division I Long Island Universitiy. The Bay State Jaguars Elite/Expressions traveled to Philadelphia, PA this weekend for Philly’s Finest Take it to the Limit Tournament. Playing up a division in the u15 age bracket, they went 3-1, knocking off the hometown club, Philly’s Finest, and Youth Interlock to make it to the semi-finals on Sunday afternoon. Hardwood Elite has created a highlight reel of Alex Murphy's performance at the recent Jayhawk Invitational. The video can be found on the NERR homepage as our new Video of the Week.
Murphy was in the news again last week after starring at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions and earning subsequent scholarship offers from Duke and Texas.
Murphy will be in action next weekend with his New England Playaz team at the Rumble in the Bronx.
