A number of players who played their prep basketball in New England are heading to the NCAA Division One Final Four this weekend. Milton Academy & Expressions Elite guard Nick Petronio announced his commitment to Boston College on Friday afternoon.  He has been a standout the last two seasons for a Milton squad that has won a combined 43 games during that span. This included a 2023 NEPSAC Class A Championship where they beat St. Sebastian’s 77-76. Winchendon School and Team Griffin forward Belal Elshakery recently announced his commitment to NJIT.  Elshakery, a native of Egypt, came to New England this year for his first and only season.
