Stonehill head coach Dave McLaughlin picked up his latest verbal commitment this week from Jimmy Walsh, a six-foot-six forward from Manasquan High School in New Jersey. Walsh helped lead Manasquan to a 21-8 record last season and ran alongside Tyler Roberson on the New Jersey Roadrunners this summer. Saint Michael's College picked up a verbal commitment earlier this week from Matthew Bonds, a six-foot-five 200 pound forward from North Point High School in Waldorf, Maryland. Over the past two high school seasons, Bonds has been a critical component for a North Point team that has achieved a 50-3 record including a Maryland 4A state championship.
Bonds, who is known as a face-up big man and excellent rebounder, played with Team Takeover on the grassroots circuit.
