Same old story, a whole new group at Bridgton. The former NEPSAC powerhouse, which won the league’s top championship four times in five years from 2005-2009. The guard began his high school career at St. Francis Prep (NY) before transferring to Wilbraham & Monson and reclassifying into 2023. The schedule of the annual National Prep Showcase is now out. This is the unofficial kick-off to the prep school season. Brewster Academy & New York Rens shooting guard Aaron Clark announced his commitment to Wake Forest last night. Clark began his high school career at Easton. He was a part of the varsity in his first year, averaging 4.9 points in 2018-19. A major leap was taken in his sophomore season. Clark averaged 14 points and hit 45 three-pointers, helping his team make the District 11 6A semifinals and a state tournament appearance. Worcester Academy & Middlesex Magic forward Todd Brogna announced his commitment on Friday night to Stonehill.  Brogna began his high school career at Algonquin, being on the varsity squad as a freshman. He really stood out in the 2020-21 season. While the Titans only played eight games, Brogna averaged 20 points and 12 rebounds. South Kent School & New York Rens big man Papa Kante announced his commitment to Michigan last night.  Kante arrived at South Kent in the fall of 2020 when his current head coach Raphael Chillious came back to the school. While a full 2020-21 season did not happen for him due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, he made the most of the following year.
