Massachusetts 2026 Ranking Drop

Today mark's the initial drop of the Massachusetts 2026 Rankings, which from the looks of it seems to be a very solid class.

This ranking goes 30 players deep, with more players in consideration as New England's largest state is full of college prospects in this respective age group.

To start things off in the top spot is Springfield native and Wilbraham & Monson wing, Sam Fleming. Fleming is the top ranked prospect nationally from the bay state, and has seen his recruitment rise immensely since the start of June with schools in the Atlantic 10, SEC and Big East extending offers his way. Following him in the second spot is Newman big man, Collins Chidera Onyejiaka. The 6'10 center has shown impressive improvement since first arriving in the region from Nigeria, most notably extending his game a bit from the paint. His upside is glaring, and is a consensus opinion with Atlantic 10 and Big East schools in the mix thus far.

The third spot is filled by Reason Prep's Vincent Osazee, another prospect with high major recruitment in the ACC, Big 10, Big 12, Big East, etc. who has continued to make strides in his game. The explosive wing was a standout at the Frosh/Soph Elite 75 just under a year ago from today. After Osazee is Lawrence Academy's Alex Egbuonu. The 6'6 wing finished with all-second team recognition from the 3SSB circuit and picked up offers from Mississippi State and Xavier in the past 30 days.

Incoming CATS Academy prospect Jaxson Terry takes the fifth spot after averaging 8.0 points per game in the EYBL and receiving his first five scholarship offers since the start of the spring. Sixth belongs to incoming Worcester Academy point guard Amir Jenkins. Jenkins comes into the NEPSAC fresh off two consecutive MIAA D1 state titles, an appearance with Team USA's U18 3x3 squad in Hungary, and is starting to see more buzz in his recruitment.

CATS guard Desmond Bellot takes the seventh spot in the ranking as the two-way combo guard has a big junior season on the horizon. Bellot's potential impact on a reloaded CATS squad is notable and one to monitor. Newman 6'8 sharpshooting wing Quinn Costello takes the eighth spot fresh off of an offer from Harvard this week.

Rounding out the top ten is Cushing point guard Ryan Moesch and CATS wing Jaylin Crawford-Williams. Moesch is a twitchy guard who just earned All-HGSL recognition and is continuing to boost his stock, while Crawford-Williams has glaring physical tools and upside entering the class of 2026.
