Vermont 2023 Rankings Debut
Our 2023 rankings roll-out takes us to the state of Vermont today, where there are admittedly still lots of questions.
With the pandemic taking away our Open Gym Series in each of the last two falls, it was more difficult than ever to find the top local prospects.
One player who has announced his arrival on the scene though is Vermont Academy newcomer Darin Smith, who has moved north from Springfield and could be on the verge of a breakout season for the Wildcats. This long and smooth wing is loaded with upside and definitely going to be a prospect to watch in the coming years.
Smith is one of three Vermont Academy products to crack the top five as he is joined by Jared Berry and Omela Mudogo while Sharif Sharif and Eli Pockette headline the top players in the local ranks.
Of course, we'll be on the lookout in the coming months for new prospects to emerge as we continue to build this list out.
