South Kent’s Doyle D1 Bound
South Kent post-graduate Jayden Doyle committed to Monmouth over the weekend, becoming the 6th member of the Cardinal's 2021 class to earn a full athletic scholarship.
That total, which is the most the program has produced since 2014, coincides with the return of head coach Raphael Chillious and his commitment to rebuild the program that he founded nearly 15 years ago.
Doyle came to South Kent from his home state of Tennessee after playing his grassroots basketball with Team Curry most recently.
He is a high-level athlete on the wing whose size, at 6-foot-5, allows him the flexibility to play and defend multiple positions.
Doyle also showed tremendous growth over the course of his post-graduate season, both in terms of his skill-set and the consistency of his motor.
