Junior Elite Camp - Sixers

The Sixers were another team in the NBA East able to rely on a inside-out one-two punch with the likes of Jeff Spellman and Christian Mornewack leading the way.

Jeff Spellman, 5’9”, PG - Spellman is a lightning quick guard with a tight handle and extreme playmaking ability. He gets into the lane with his quick first step and attacking mentality and makes a good decision on each dribble drive, whether it be a dump to a big, a kick to the perimeter, or finishing himself.

Christian Morneweck, 6’5”, C - Morneweck was the best big man in the camp in the opinion of the coaches. He is an extremely aggressive rebounder, blocks and alters countless shots in games, and has a quickly developing post game, both facing up and with his back to the basket.

Alden Bouziegesar, 5’11”, SF - Bouziegesar is an athletic combo forward who has solid spring around the rim, finishing above bigs attempting to alter shots. He can shoot the ball from mid range and his ball handling skills are steadily developing.

Desmond Miller, 5’10”, SG - Miller is a slashing lefty wing who goes to the rim hard. He keeps his head up and does an excellent job penetrating and kicking out to shooters as well as finding the open man in transition.

Patric O’Rourke, 6’0”, PG - O’Rourke is a solid defender at the point guard position. He pressures the ball and works hard up the court. Offensively, he sees the floor well and compliments his passing game with three point range.

Drew Davis, 6’2”, PF - Davis is a hard working, big bodied post player who attacks the offensive glass well. He goes up strong and does a good job getting guys in the air inside and drawing fouls. Once he develops a better finishing touch and free throw he will be a solid high school big.

Leon Smith, 5’8”, SG - Leon is a scrappy off guard who works hard on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he likes to pressure the ball all the way up the floor and wreaks havoc on opposing ball handlers. Offensively, he attacks the rim hard and draws a lot of fouls.

Michael O’Donnell, 5’0”, PG - A small point guard still waiting for his growth spurt, O’Donnell has a high basketball IQ, great handle as a point guard, and the ability to knock down the open three. Good things happen when he has the ball in his hands.

Dominic Luoni, 5’10”, PG - Dominic is a combo guard who does a great job running the offense the way his coach asks. He is an efficient scorer, taking smart shots and hitting most of the shots he takes. In his teams Saturday night matchup with the knicks he hit several key jumpers to broaden the lead in the second half.

Connor O’Brien, 5’11”, SF - Connor is a versatile player who has the skill set to play 2,3, or 4. He handles the ball well, creates off the dribble and when the defense collapses he finds the open man for the easy bucket.

Deion Moore, 5’7”, SG - Moore is a hard working off guard who does all the little things to help his team win. He fights for loose balls, plays hard, and makes good decisions.
