St. Michael's College received an early verbal commitment in the class of 2012 recently when David Garcia pledged to head coach Michael Harding. Garcia is a six-foot-three combo-guard from Pocono Mountain East High School in Pennsylvania. Last year he helped guide East to a seventeen win season. The Boston Amatuer Basketball Club claimed the 2011 Nike EYBL championship on Friday with a win over Memphis YOMCA in a national televised game.
