Busy Weekend for Hotchkiss Players
Coach Fred Benjamin and his players at the Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Conn., are in the midst of a busy few days.
Wednesday night, its open run played host to coaches from Wisconsin, Penn State, Washington and Xavier, among others. Junior Patrick Steeves (Montreal, Canada), a skilled big forward with a pure shooting stroke, emerged as the big winner from that workout, having landed offers from both Penn State and Xavier, according to Benjamin.
This weekend, the Hotchkiss team will disperse to be hosted for a variety of visits, both official and unofficial, midnight madness and the opening of college basketball practices.
