Vermont Academy wing Darin Smith Jr announced his commitment yesterday to Central Connecticut State. Before coming to the NEPSAC, Smith Jr played for Springfield Central. He was a part of a team his freshman year which went 22-1 and made it to the 2020 MIAA Division One State Finals. 2024 Bradford Christian Academy & Mass Rivals forward George Turkson announced his commitment last night live on 247Sports to Texas A&M. Before coming to the NEPSAC, Turkson played for Lowell HS. In a COVID shortened 2020-21 season, he averaged eight points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks to help the Red Raiders finish 6-2. His first season at BCA was a success. Putnam Science Academy wing Duane Thompson announced his commitment Sunday night to St. Bonaventure. He will be competing for the Bonnies starting next season. Thompson first came to PSA in the fall of 2022. He earned meaningful minutes off the bench on a squad that won the AAA Power 5 Conference and National Prep Championship Titles. With a coaching staff composed solely by active college coaches, and primarily by Division Two and Three coaches, this event is designed for any class of 2024 prospect who does not yet have a committable Division One offer.
