The National Prep Championship once again lived up to its prestigious reputation, delivering an unforgettable showcase of high-level prep basketball. This year’s event was nothing short of spectacular, solidifying the series status as the pinnacle of prep school hoops.

Spending four straight days at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, fully immersed in elite competition, was an incredible experience. The intensity, passionate play, and sheer talent on display made for a thrilling atmosphere from start to finish.

All 18 teams that earned a spot in the bracket arrived with one goal in mind—to battle for a national title.

As the dust settled, all roads led to Connecticut for a championship clash that will be remembered for years to come. The final showdown between the Putnam Science Mustangs and the St. Thomas More Chancellors was nothing short of historic, featuring two powerhouse programs going head-to-head in a game that lived up to every bit of the hype.

The energy inside the gym was electric, with fans pouring in from all over, creating a sold-out crowd before the ball had even been tipped. The student sections for both schools were loud, engaged, and passionate, making for a memorable experience for everyone that was there or watched the game.

In a game that remained up for grabs until the final moments, both teams delivered a performance worthy of a national championship stage. The back-and-forth battle, high-level play, and the relentless effort on both ends resulted in a contest that has already made waves on the national scene.

The game was chalk full of both committed and uncommitted prospects that will certainly be ready to contribute to scholarship programs when their prep careers come to an end.
