Five programs into our NEPSAC Class AA previews and a common theme seems to be reoccurring – the league is wide open this year. Friday officially marks the beginning of the college basketball season and whether local programs are jumping right into practice or celebrating with Midnight Madness, this is a huge recruiting weekend in New England and beyond. Cushing Academy senior forward Andrew Chrabascz has done just about everything over the course of his high school career. Harvard picked up their second commitment in the class of 2013 on Tuesday as six-foot-seven power forward Hunter Myers joined NMH big man Zena Edosomwan in committed to head coach Tommy Amaker. Worcester Academy has their second prospect off the board in the class of 2013 as post-graduate swingman Matt Panaggio made a verbal commitment to Lipscomb University on Monday. Panaggio joins fellow post-graduate guard Matt Mobley, who committed to Central Connecticut earlier this fall. Panaggio is a six-foot-four swingman who graduated from Father Lopez High School in Florida before arriving at Worcester Academy this fall.
